RIFTING AT REZZED

 

We’ve just returned from a very successful weekend at Rezzed. It was pleasure to be showing our game at our first major game event. And the first official UK event to host the Oculus Rift. We’re so glad that we were able to offer players their first VR experience on a game designed specifically for the rift.

Thank you to everyone who chose to brave the enormous queue line and thanks to anyone who came up and said Hi, asked about our game or the Rift – You really made our day.

We are extremely grateful to David Hayward and the team behind Rezzed for providing us with this great opportunity show showcase such an amazing technology with our game.

With Rezzed being the first official event for the British public to try the Rift, there was a feverish excitement in the air from gamers, journalists and developers alike waiting with baited breath for their first virtual reality experience on the Rift.
Even though the Rift itself was the main draw, it was wonderful to introduce people to virtual reality through our very own game. Undercurrent is being developed specifically for virtual reality, to ease players into VR with comfortable movement, intuitive controls and high definition graphics.
We received a plethora of positive feedback from people who were fired up about our project and about the direction we were taking the game.
All of this attention has reinvigorated the team to dive back into development and create the ultimate deep sea adventure game for the Oculus Rift!
